In 2011, Brittany Morgan graduated from Wingate University in North Carolina with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Communication Studies. Her course work focused primarily on broadcast communications. While at Wingate University, Brittany wrote for the school newspaper, The Weekly Triangle. She gained local attention with the publication of her article exposing the local government’s mid-term election indignity.

In 2006, she began “The Yankees Baseball Whisperer” blog as a way to connect with other Yankees fans. On her blog she analyzed games, reviewed baseball books, and interviewed people surrounding the game of baseball. Her blog has been listed as a top 50 blog on MLBlogs.com for various months. Her blog is also featured on Westchester, New York’s LoHud Yankees Blog as well as featured as a top blog on The Max blog of the YES network.

In 2007 Brittany’s interest in radio broadcast moved her to develop a sports talk-show that would be broadcast on BlogTalkRadio.com. Brittany launched her show, “A Show of Their Own” in 2008 with her co-host Bernadette Pasley. Within four months of the shows creation, the show’s audience had grown to 400 listeners and was mentioned on ESPN 1050’s “The Michael Kay Show.” “A Show of Their Own” was featured on BlogTalkRadio.com as a Top 100 sports show for the duration of the 2008 season.

In 2008, Brittany tried her hand in color commentary when she won an essay contest for the Charleston RiverDogs’ annual, Fancaster of the Year competition. Brittany was the only female to compete in the contest. She made a lasting impression with viewers and listeners, as she came in second place.
